Successful candidates will be given the needed support throughout their transitioning process including interview, visa application, travel, registration professional body, accommodation and induction upon arrival. You do not need to be registered with the NMC before sending us your application. However it’s important that you familiarize yourself with the UK NMC registration process. How to register with Synergy Healthcare Solutions

To register with Synergy Healthcare Solutions, you need to complete the registration form on the “register with us” section and upload a CV and cover letter. Once you send in your application, our team will get in touch with you to inform you of the next steps.

Essential requirements for Nurses

1. Nursing/Midwifery qualification

You are required to have appropriate nursing qualification either at a diploma, or degree level.

 

2. English Language proficiency if applicable

UK NMC accept two language tests as evidence of English language proficiency; International English Language Test System (IELTS) Academic and the Occupational English Test (OET).

 

IELTS

UK NMC accepts an IELTS Academic examination certificate that confirms you have achieved:

  • an overall score of at least 7, and

  • at least 6.5 in the writing section and at least 7 in the reading, listening and speaking modules.

Both the paper based and computer based IELTS Academic test delivered at a test centre are accepted by UK NMC.

 

OET

UK NMC accepts an OET examination certificate that confirms that you achieved:

  • at least a grade C+ in the writing section, and

  • at least a grade B in the reading, listening and speaking sections.

UK NMC accepts the OET on Paper, OET on Computer and the OET@Home.

 

3. Pass the Computer Based Test (CBT) – NMC Test of Competence (Part 1)

As this is mandatory to register with UK NMC, candidates applying to Premium healthcare should have at least passed the part 1 of the best of competence or should have at least booked the exams.

4. Relevant documents

You will also need to send to us the following documents to aid in processing your application;

 

  • Passport

  • Up-to-date CV

  • Police Clearance: A police clearance is required for every country in which you have lived for more than 12 months in the last 10 years.

  • Tuberculosis test

  • Minimum of one year nursing experience

  • Proof of registration progress from UK NMC portal

  • Cover letter/personal statement

 

5. Issuance of your Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS)

Upon successful application and job offer, your employer, who will also be your sponsor in UK will issue you a Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) with which is part of the documents needed to apply for skilled worker visa in your home country. 

 

6. Pass the Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) – NMC Test of Competence (Part 2)

Upon arrival in UK, your employer will provide you with the necessary support and training for the part 2 of the NMC Test of Competence, which is the Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE). The purpose of this exam is to test your knowledge and clinical skills and also to get you familiarize yourself with some of the real-life scenarios you are likely to encounter in your day-to-day life as a registered nurse in UK. After passing your OSCE, you will receive your UK Nursing and Midwifery Council PIN Number, making you a fully register nurse in United Kingdom.

Requirements for Senior Carers and Healthcare Assistants

  • Passport

  • Minimum of 6 months care experience

  • Tuberculosis Test

  • International driving license

  • Police clearance

  • IELTS UKVI test report

  • Care Certificate

  • Up-to-date CV

  • Cover letter/personal statement
